The Centre for Extraterrestrial and Terrestrial Testing AS (C-EXTT) has emerged from the doctoral research performed by the founder of the company, Miss Frida Klaebo Vonstad. Miss Vonstad undertook the doctorate in Geotechnical Engineering at University College London (UCL) in collaboration with Oxford University and Brighton University, with the focus on “interdisciplinary testing of borehole cores”. The research was undertaken in collaboration with industry to tailor the final product to the clients.
From the doctoral expertise gained, the company was founded in October 2019 as the sole company in the world offering interdisciplinary testing of borehole cores for construction and mining industry.
The Centre for Extraterrestrial and Terrestrial Testing offers more efficient work practices that reduces time, cost and material needs for testing on sites, and offers a start to end environmentally friendly procedure through innovative technology from around the world.
